Oh, and this is really important - Kate and I decided yesterday that eggplant really shouldn't be allowed to be a food. It's pretty and all, but it's simply vile tasting, and the texture is akin to eating, oh, I don't know, maybe a condom.

I think you would like Lee Bontecou's work. It's very earthy and fibrous.
I don't think she's got a website because I think she's too old or deceased. She was creatin' back in the 60's and was pretty big. Then, she decided to quite and didn't make a come back until about 2004ish.

Eggplant is also shiny purple, which means do not eat.
